Stir-Fry

⭘ 45 ml (3 tbsp) vegetable oil
⭘ 1/2 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
⭘ 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) broccoli (or Chinese broccoli), cut into florets
⭘ 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced into strips
⭘ 1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped
⭘ 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
⭘ 1/2 bottle Sésame general Tao sauce

Preparation steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch and ground ginger. Add the chicken and coat well. Remove any excess flour/cornstarch and set aside.
  2. In a large non-stick pan, heat 30 ml (2 tbsp) of oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 2 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown. Keep warm.
  3. In the same pan, heat 15 ml (1 tbsp) of oil over high heat. Add the onions, broccoli, and red bell peppers, and stir-fry for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for 30 seconds, stirring. Add more oil if needed. Return the chicken to the pan and add the Sésame General Tao sauce. Cook for 1 minute, making sure to coat the chicken and vegetables well with the sauce.
